Our Story
Hair•Color•Art (HCA) blends a salon with an art gallery, fostering a vibrant, community-oriented space. Our staff recognizes hair as an expression of self and believes in the transformative power of a haircut or color to boost self-esteem. Founder Kristin Dutcher (she/her), driven by her own journey of acceptance, aims to create an inclusive environment where individuals feel empowered to explore their identities. Embracing a philosophy of community over competition, she prioritizes people's well-being over financial gain.

Kristin's vision extends beyond hair care, welcoming diverse talents and interests into the salon. Through initiatives like "Art After Hours," artists showcase their work, fostering a sense of ownership and community engagement. These events not only enrich the salon experience but also attract new clientele, illustrating the symbiotic relationship between creativity and business growth. By prioritizing inclusivity and collaboration, Hair Color Art embodies Kristin's belief that shared experiences and mutual support lead to sustainable success.
How We Work
Hair•Color•Art (HCA) is a community of independent stylists. As such, each stylist will have their own pricing structure, booking sites, and list of available services. Even though we are independent business people, we uphold uncompromising service and client care standards. If you have any questions about services offered, booking a stylist, or becoming part of our team, please contact us.
